When we arrived at Sugaw Creek Church, we got out of the car and were able to put our things on the bus. Then we sat down and prayed, and off we went to Greensboro, to the sound of religious music, dancing, and immediately to a wide-ranging chat.
Once we arrived at Wet’n Wild and got off the bus, the actual activities of the day began with great pomp.
The various activities we were able to enjoy included The Wave, The Edge, Leisure Lagoon, Lazee River, The Riptide Racer, Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror and more. All of these activities were fun to do with others, and some of them took a lot of courage and required encouragement from friends. There was a place dedicated to children…
On July 16, 2022 Louons Ensemble Ministries members gathered at the Harrisburg Park to celebrate a very successful Vacation Bible School. The Youth and Children’s ministries worked hard to put on a performance for the adults. There, they sang and dance to “Every Move I Make”.
During the hours LEM members were at the park, children played in the park, going on swings and down the slides as well as playing tag and other fun games. The adults were able to relax and enjoy the company. It was a very fun event for all involved.
From Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15, LEM and its children’s department organized the first Vacations Bible School (VBS) at the home of Brother Kossi Christophe Ametowossi. Hilda Attitso, LEM’s children’s ministry leader, with the help of Faith and Olivia Codjie, led this event.
Throughout the week the children learned about reading the Bible, who the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were, prayer – what it is and how to pray – and how to become good Christians – the characteristics and good Christians, how to embody it, what is sin, why we sin and how we can sin less among other things. They participated in games and activities such as crossword puzzles, Blooket, coloring sheets and group activities to facilitate Bible studies…
Louons Ensemble Youth Ministry (LEM) strives to help children grow in Christ by providing a foundation of faith and living a little more like Jesus. This is done by teaching children the Lord’s Prayer, learning about the Scriptures, and helping them integrate prayer into their daily lives.
