Intercession is defined as all the prayers we address to God in favor of one or more persons who are in bitter bonds of iniquity or diabolical slavery. When we intercede for people on earth, the Spirit of God and the Lord Jesus intercede for us. Indeed, “the Spirit himself makes intercession with inexpressible sighs; and he who searches the hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God” (Romans 8:26-27). And if anyone has sinned, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1). He is at the right hand of God, and he intercedes for us (Romans 8/34)! That is why he can perfectly save those who approach God through him, being always alive to intercede for them (Hebrews 7:25). Amen!
