I may bring splendor instead of ashes to those in Zion who mourn

So that I may bring splendor instead of ashes to those in Zion who mourn, to anoint their heads with the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and to clothe them with garments of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called ‘Oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, the display of his splendor.’” Isaiah 61:3
In Christ, you can not only heal, but also become an instrument in the healing of others. Be a living example of a grateful person who always recovers from their hardships, however cruel or frequent they may be. Never say, “I can’t take it anymore.” Rather, say, “In Christ, I can do all that is necessary. I will never give up, for God is on my side.”
My prayer for today: Thank you, Father, for bringing healing into my life and for being able to create splendor from ashes. I pray that you will help me persevere and never give up. I want to use my experience to help others find this same healing. Amen
