Pour les chrétiens, l’amour et la compassion sont essentiels à la mise en pratique de leur foi. L’amour est considéré comme le plus grand commandement : aimer Dieu de tout son cœur et aimer son prochain comme soi-même (Matthieu 22, 37-39). La compassion découle de cet amour, reflétant l’exemple de miséricorde, de bonté et de sollicitude du Christ envers les personnes souffrantes et marginalisées. Ces vertus ne sont pas de simples émotions, mais des expressions actives de la foi, incitant les croyants à servir autrui avec altruisme et à pardonner généreusement, incarnant ainsi la grâce de Dieu au quotidien.
LEM n’est pas une église pour les personnes parfaites. C’est une église pour les cœurs blessés, pour ceux qui ont soif de Jésus et pour ceux qui souhaitent grandir spirituellement. Peu importe d’où vous venez, votre passé ou votre parcours, vous êtes chez vous.
Ensemble, nous célébrons l’amour et les enseignements de Jésus, qui nous inspirent à vivre avec compassion, bonté et unité.
